Ivy Van Dusen

The weather outside here in Provo is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It is the perfect time of year to do hikes and runs and all sorts of fun outside adventures. Also, we recently bought a new camera, so I have been going crazy with the picture taking. But really now, how can you not when things are so pretty?
Shoutout to my Kody for being my eternal companion and my eternal photo subject. I am like the paparazzi with this new camera.
Our poor future children.

I have the most handsome hubby there ever was.

Kody and I are both so dog hungry.
We both grew up with big dogs and we are such suckers for them.
Except, out 525 square foot apartment isn't really the best place to have one.
We are so sad that for the next while (until we have enough to get a house+big back yard, so a long while probably), we won't get to have a doggie to play fetch with and take on hikes and do all sorts of fun dog stuff with :(
BUT
here in Provo there is a business that actually rents puppies out for a few hours at a time, so we decided to play with this little guy for a few hours yesterday!

His name was Duke, and although he mostly just slept and pooped, we loved him anyway.

I'm pretty sure that in the 79 days we have been married, we have driven about 1 million miles. From going back and forth between Arizona, Southern California, Northern California and now Utah, we have become road trip pros. Good thing I am a huge fan of road trips! Especially when they involve hand holding, good music and sour patch kids :) (side note: Yes, my hair is now back to blonde. It is still a work-in-progress and I am excited to see how it will eventually turn out!)

And what, may I ask is being in Southern California without plenty of beach time?

And what is the beach without some fish tacos from Pedros?!

We also went down to Mesa to visit my family and pick up all of our wedding gifts! I can't even describe how much I miss these brothers of mine. Every time I see them they are like an entire foot taller and their voices are an entire octave lower.

I'm grateful for beach trips.
I'm grateful for such fun in-laws.
I am grateful for my husband.
I'm grateful that families can be together forever.
And I'm grateful for fish tacos.
